Code from other projects ------------------------ These files come from digikit (https://github.com/m-dwyer/digikit), under the GNU GPL version 2 or (at your option) any later version. Each file names its origin in its header. elekloader/codec/elz.py dt2/elz.py, by Em D elekloader/codec/aplib.py dt2/aplib.py, by Em D; the match-finder and compressed output by irpina elekloader/codec/transport.py the transport encoders and checksums from dt2/build.py, by Em D; changes by irpina elekloader/isa/coldfire.py emu/cfisa.py, by irpina Firmware formats ---------------- The ELE3 container, the SysEx transport and the packing format were first documented by elektron-firmware-tool (https://github.com/mischa85/elektron-firmware-tool, MIT, (c) 2026 Marcel Bierling). No code from that tool is included; it served as a cross-check. octabam ------- Facts about the Octatrack come from sambanks/octabam (https://github.com/sambanks/octabam, MIT, (c) 2026 Sam Banks), and are marked "octabam" where they are used (elekloader/devices/octatrack.py). mods/core-ot makes the same 28 arena writes as octabam's platform, for the same reservation. elekloader/sdk/octabam.py reads octabam's module manifests from a checkout the user supplies, and copies their sources into the mod folders it writes, with octabam's licence beside them. No octabam code is included here. Elektron -------- Elektron, Digitakt, Digitone, Syntakt and Analog are trademarks of Elektron Music Machines. elekloader is not affiliated with or endorsed by Elektron. It contains no Elektron firmware and distributes nothing derived from it: every build happens on the user's machine, from the stock OS file the user supplies. Mods carry only their authors' own bytes, plus short instruction fragments needed to hook the OS (runs of stock bytes under 8 bytes long, and the instructions a hook displaces, are stored as they are), and hashes of the stock bytes they expect.
